Understandably, time is never enough for sports nutrition education - how can young people prepare four to six nutritious meals every day? Bodybuilding requires a higher consumption of energy. Nutrients get converted to energy for these hard working muscles that need large quantities of carbohydrates, fats, protein, vitamins and minerals. A carefully prepared sports nutrition program is necessary and protein supplements or protein bars alone are not providing all the nutrients required. In natural bodybuilding, where steroids, growth hormones, and other drugs are not taken in order to gain quality muscle, all-natural nutritional supplements should be absorbed on a daily basis.
