What's in the kid's CalMax Formula?

Kid's CalMax uses only the highest quality ingredients in its formulation. It is a unique powdered blend of calcium, magnesium, and vitamin C to help maximize the amount of calcium and magnesium. This blend also includes citric acid, fructose, beet root powder and natural tropical fruit-punch flavor to enhance absorption and flavor. Calmax
Each serving of CalMax powder yields 225 mg of calcium gluconate, 70 mg of magnesium carbonate and 500 mg of vitamin C.

The calcium gluconate is 90% plant derived and can come from either potatoes or rice. The special extraction process yields a pure form of the mineral which contains no vegetable, animal or other by-products. The 10% portion of calcium comes from rock deposits which have been purified and processed. The magnesium carbonate has also been taken from earth deposits and has been purified and processed. The vitamin C is a pharmaceutical grade ascorbic acid. Citric acid is included as an additional acidifier. The fructose and tropical fruit-punch flavoring, which are originally derived from fruit sources, are included to enhance the taste of the formula for children. The beet root powder gives the liquid its purple-pink coloring.

There are absolutely no fillers or artificial ingredients used in Kid's CalMax. It is natural and safe for children. Kid's CalMax also does not contain any corn, wheat, dairy, gluten, soy, salicylates or casein.

Kid's CalMax is easy to make: Add 2 heaping teaspoons of powder to a cup. (Use a regular kitchen teaspoon, not a measuring teaspoon.) Add one half-cup boiling water. The liquid will begin to fizz and turn a purplish-pink color. Stir until the fizzing stops. Now fill the rest of the cup with cold water and add ice cubes if desired.
